A bit late for this thread but next time do this: I have used this method since buying a cam from Wade Cams, sadly now closed, ages ago.
Set the motor to TDC, install the cam and with a dial gauge set the inlet on No.1 to the lift setting at TDC. Get this setting from your cam supplier.
Its done.
