An odd thing happened last night. The car has a Kenlowe fan with a Tripac
electronic controller, both of which were fitted by a previous owner - it\'s
never given any trouble. When I was walking back from the pub last night, I
walked past the car and the fan was going hell for leather. Bearing in mind
the car hadn\'t been driven for three days I thought \'that\'s a bit odd\'. Anyway
it was dark and I was in no condition to start messing around looking for the
cause so I just disconnected the battery. I reconnected it this morning and
the fan started up again, and was on during the journey to work but it must
have switched itself off at some point on the run. I parked the car and
turned the ignition off and two seconds later the fan came on briefly and
then went off (what I would call normal behaviour). Any ideas anyone?
