Strut brace
There is, of course also the TR7 and its variants (lots of them still about) - although one strut would not fit all in that case, as TR7 Sprints and TR8's need different shaped struts...

I have what's left on ebay at the moment, I suspect you have already sent me a message about postage to Germany .
I am keeping the prototype incase anybody wants more making in the future.

Yep, I reckon there's about 3 or 4 mm of clearance. It would be much more with the standard cover, but I've had no issues.

Whiteline from Australia available through DemonTweeks - a very very nice alloy one but not particularly cheap. They may not be available any more either and when they were I had to more or less tell them about them
