Re: Mk2 estates

So how do I go about removing a Webasto sunroof from an Estate and returning it to OE spec?

Replace the whole roof with a SH panel
Replace the hacked out part with a section from a SH panel
Pay wodges of cash to have a replacement section created.

Re: Trim For Estates.

I would add that the Estate rear trim is held on by 2 external chrome screws on both MkI & II's.

The Estate interior was not updated when the MkII came out. Presumably not worth the time?

ps Heather, I've got another MkI Estate now, in Damson but this ones a keeper! :D

Have you cut off the lower part of the front wing? The bit that covers the sill. This is where the majority of the damage comes from caused but water running down the inside wing and the rotting out the front of the sill. I like the idea of sealing the wing - windscreen surround to stop the cause of...

Keep checking the way the doors fit as you go. I usually find a jack across the front outrigger - Chassis Rail allows me to adjust the front door fit. My normal route is two axle stands in line with the diff and two axle stands on the front suspension cross member. Then a jack on the front out rigge...
