Hi Colin,

In my book there is no altrnative - fit a throttle linkage kit from Prestige Injection and you'll never have a problem again!

I have used the clikadjust on all of my cars for well over 15 years - it is supposed to take into account any wear that wouldn't be picked up on using a feeler guage.

All I can say is that my engines run very well returning excellent fuel consumption figures.

I didn't really pay any attention to the dates - Scotland is unlikely; it's too close to Henley Royal Regatta - shame the National is always the same weekend each year; I would prefer to see the date move around through the summer

I struggled to get my handbrake to work properly for many years....until I discovered one brake shoe return spring was attached to the wrong hole! .....it hadn't affected the footbrake performance at all (never showing up at MOT)

My PI gives much better fuel consumption than has been written here. Typically mid to high 20's and 30mpg+ isn't unheard of whilst towing averages 18mph. I don't drive above the speed limit and do try to drive frugally. The car does have an 'S' cylinder head converted to unleaded fuel, standard roll...

I don\'t know the reason why but short filters are apparrently required for LHD cars and they use Unipart GFE166 The longer filter is preferable for many reason, most have already been stated in previous posts.
