thanks anyway for looking, they seem to be a rare item nowadays, I expect with a diligent online search something will come up.
cheers,
Michael

Re: rocker alignment
Yes, I would have thought that they were interchangable as well, and I noticed the difference in the rockers , all the newer stocks on offer have the oil drilling on the top. I took some measurements at Rimmers request and it does look as if there is a dimensional difference affecting the amount of ...

Re: rocker alignment
thanks, I'll have a look, they might be a better bet if Rimmers have no nos, they haven't got back to me properly yet but they may well regard them as fit for purpose if no other customers have complained, it's odd how only rockers 4-5 are affected, the rest seem to have lined up pretty well.

Re: rocker alignment
The other problem I noticed, albeit a minor one is that the locknuts are smaller than the originals, the 1/2 inch a/f spanner is quite loose on the new nuts but a 12mm is spot on, so I'll use the old nuts.

Re: rocker alignment
I've had another look today, there is a difference between the old and new parts, they are not dimentially the same. I've emailed Rimmers to see if they can offer anything better, maybe nos would be better as I imagine these are remanufactured. But if not I might be stuck with them. I wanted to tell...

Re: rocker alignment
I see what you mean, I have bought the rockers from Rimmers, 3 of each type -but I think I will remove everything and make proper comparisons between the old and new parts, taking measurements. I'll let you know how it goes when I've checked everything.
Thanks to both of you.
Michael.
