Re: How many LHD 2000's were sold?

May be because I didn't received or read your email, spam filters are foreign territory to me....

The 2000 is not in good condition, the 2500 are far better : I'm just back from a rally in Cymru with one of them, and it was fantastic, albeit cold !

Re: How many LHD 2000's were sold?

For what it's worth : in my small fleet of about 30 Triumphs in various states, I have 2 x 2000 Mk1, 1 x 2500 Pi Mk1, 1 x 2000 Mk2 and 3 x 2500 PI Mk2, all LHD.

I haven't a clue about the number of LHD 2000 Mk2, sorry.

Re: Reliant Scimitar

Hello Alec,
I own a SE5a (manual + OD) since several years, but the chassis is now rotten beyond repair.
I would be very happy to find a good chassis, as I really like this car, it deserve to be saved

Re: Le Mans Classic 2010 - anyone going?

I had the pleasure to see the Mk2 estate and a blue Mk1 aswell during the track laps :P
I made it in my TR2, a friend of mine was driving my 2500 PI Mk2 (white, LHD) for these laps.

Re: New Project just arrived!

It's easy to check if a head need to be skimmed or not, not a problem to weld it if necessary, and any measurement of combustion chambers volumes and/or valves to pistons clearances is not an issue to me.
My problem is time :? , I really prefer to give some money to a good Stag engine specialist, if ...

Re: New Project just arrived!

I know this kind of gaskets exist for diesel engines (I am a mechanic, after all !), but never heard before today that they exist for Stag engines : we all have to learn something

I have send a message to E J Wards via his website, will keep you informed of the result.

Thanks again for ...

Re: New Project just arrived!

Alan, I didn't know, before you talked about them, that extra thick heads gaskets exist for Stag !

It may be THE solution, thanks for the info  !

Cheers,

Chris.

Re: New Project just arrived!

Alan, I am afraid that you are right, about SOC membership

Tony, I have tried the same search yesterday, but the results were unusefull.

Who is the more recommended Stag engine specialist in England ?

I will let you know if I find the new heads,

Cheers,

Chris.

Re: New Project just arrived!

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I have found nothing about the "millenium heads" on the Stag owner's club website, and have tried on Google with no more result :?

Any idea ?

Chris.
