Re: My imported 2000 mk 1.
Okay triumphman, thanks for info on V765. On-going update: I have now received my BMIHT certificate, which looks like, they have records of the export documents of groups of cars going abroad in various formats to various countries. I’m in touch with Kevin from Club Triumph, so hopefully, things wil...

Re: My imported 2000 mk 1.
Hello triumphman,
Thanks for the information. I shall try and contact Kevin at Club Triumph as I was in contact with him some weeks ago, but I'm not a member of that organisation. Just as a query, what does a 'DVLA officer' have to do? Do they physically inspect the vehicle?

Re: My imported 2000 mk 1.
Again, thanks for your help jonnydog. Apparently there is a Trudi Pettyjohns mentioned in the list pulled from the DVLA authorised listing within the club. V765/1 from the gov.uk website gives owners clubs. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/661004c8a43d91001c3af20c/v765-1-list-of-vehicl...

Re: My imported 2000 mk 1.
Thanks Charles....I got a link in an email from the register, which took me to the webpage for the digital version of SixAppeal. I have actually purchased a basic certificate from the BMIHT, so just waiting on that now. There was a person mentioned in the club listing. I will email Maggie and see wh...

Re: My imported 2000 mk 1.
Well I paid a fee by PayPal back in May and received a digital copy of issue 256 of the SixAppeal magazine. There was no mention or instructions for anything else that I could see regarding my membership...

Re: My imported 2000 mk 1.
I don’t know whether the list is up to date, but I know Kevin Hagger is current as I managed a quick chat with him through a link in a Facebook group, he also suggesting V55/5.
...thanks again

Re: My imported 2000 mk 1.
Ignore the £55 fee failure...not even mentioned in the V55/5 pdf guide. In the first highlighted section is the the VIN...it’s the main lower highlighted paragraph that’s more relevant. I did send all documents that I got with the vehicle, along with proof of me and my address and a covering letter,...

Re: My imported 2000 mk 1.
I tried contacting various departments in NZ and Australia, but they couldn’t help much. So I had submitted a V55/5 and this was their reply...

Re: My imported 2000 mk 1.
...thanks Charles. I had phoned DVLA and they suggested the V55/5. ...thanks jonnydog. As you can see below...I’ve gone down the V55/5 route. Unfortunately, I was given very little paperwork – only what I stated in the original post. The vehicle appears to have been built down under in Australia, he...
