Re: Steering rack tightness
Hi Johnny, There was new poly bush kit fitted a couple of years ago less than 2500 miles. I don't suppose it can do any damage?
Cheers.

Steering rack tightness
I was getting a shudder/ vibration from my steering on my mk11 2000 ( non P A S ). I noticed the steering rack nuts were not up tight so I nipped them up. Vibration disappeared but after reading the manual it said nuts should only be nipped up to 11-14 lb- ft. Should I loosen them off a bit??? Cheers.

Re: mk2 subframe mountings
Hi, Can I ask a further question - When doing the 4 wheel alignment adjusting the rear, is it adjusted through the moving of the subframe mountings bolts as I feel the right hand side may have moved slightly during the rebuilding. Or is it because the car sits differently now with the new mountings ...

mk2 subframe mountings
Hi I think i need to replace the subframe mounting bushes that sit under the back seat of my 1977 Triumph 2000. What like a job is it to do? Any tips? I think that's what is causing my vibration as tried everything else.
