Hello and welcome. I might be wrong but I believe your car was offered for sale in the Scottish Borders area some years ago (St. Boswells?)
Great to hear that you have got it running again and are using it. They look good in Mallard blue and were a great towcar.

If you have been driving a modern car and not driven a Triumph for years it will feel very different than you remember, particularly in relation to the performance and noise. And you will wonder what on earth you saw in it! Your expectations might not match reality. But instead of driving on a dual ...

Welcome. Pete is doing a fantastic job on the restoration of YJO with great attention to detail. It will be a wonderful car. Andy Harrison is local to you for Triumph spares and very good to deal with.

Re: Wtd: MkI heater box
I have a Mk1 heater box which I believe is a face-lift one. The only id on it is a sticker ;Smiths Code FHF5505 /05,Model F500. All the mechanisms on the sides seem to move freely. Some surface rust from storage but not bad overall.

I believe the registration is JKV76N not JKU. Sorry not to have any further information although I believe I have read previous posts in recent years looking for information about the car.

Re: Hello From Scotland
Originally a Pembrokeshire registered car but not one I recognised when it was advertised. I do recall MDE515R which was a Russet Brown 2500TC. MDE479R an S estate was owned by a register member and on the cover of June 1988 Six Appeal.

Re: Milestone Classics
The Saffron 2000 has had another owner since the gentleman from Lancashire, a regular customer it seems. The company seems to get a lot of repeat business and someone who sold a car to them was happy with the service from them. However the attitude that because a car sold for £23k (actually it was m...
