Different Mk 2 wheels and trims?
I have had a set of brand new wheel trims for a bog standard Triumph 2000 Mk 2, in the shed, for about 20 years. Decided to polish them up and fit them to the car (they are mint) only to discover that they don't fit - and stand out proud from the wheel. The new trims are the ones WITHOUT the Triumph ...

Re: Classic Car show at the NEC
I very much enjoyed looking at your stand, and not without some sympathy! We (The Rover SD1 Club) had one of those hall dividing pilars in our stand in 2009 and it was a bloomin nuiscence! The only consolation is that some other poor club will get it next year because they do try not to give you a ...

Re: Sad news
Had never considered the impact of ramming air into the radiator. Makes perfect sense....

Re: Sad news
Well I don't think so, there are people that love their Marinas and Allegros too, we are not all the same. The world would be a better place without the chavs in the hot hatchs that go racing round MacDonalds carpark when I'm trying to take my 11 year old across it. They ought to go and banger race ...

Re: Sad news
I don't like to see these cars being wrecked banger racing, but the brutal truth is these cars are not wanted by the classic car enthusiasts, there are only so many of us and we can't all keep half a dozen of them. I have an SD1 and dozens of them are still being broken for their engines. Club ...

Windscreen trim
Can anyone offer any advice about refitting the stainless trim please? The screen has just had a new rubber seal, which was professionally fitted but the guy who did it could not fit the trim. He tried to fit it before fitting the screen and after. He said there is a special tool to do the job and ...
