It should do, that's the correct size for the car.

Anybody else spotted the 2000TC carmine red KUU2P in the trailer for The Long Shadow, a serial about the hunt for the Yorkshire Ripper, coming later this month on ITV & ITVX.
Should be worth a watch, some big names (and cars!)

To be fair, it is a simple job to fit a spin on filter adaptor.....just one bolt...remove old filter & bowl....fit new 'o'ring in block.... fit new filter & housing....one bolt....Done!

For instance, i was not aware until reading up on the above that 'on taking the foot off the throttle a forced change up could be met, although not ideal'. I did not know that. Pretty sure that GND is earth, especially as the cable is black.
Some wiring diagrams say earth, others say ground, or GND.
Out of interest, what are the driveshafts on your car from?

For what its worth, I've read that sender units are not as readily available as they once were, and quite expensive when they are.
Try a can of carb cleaner on your unit to see if you can get it moving, better still would be dunking it in a sonic cleaning tank if you know anyone who has one.
