Fuel pump
Are the fuel pumps interchangeable? I have a 1978 NZ Triumph 2000TC the fuel pump has the bowl on top, the manual says that’s the old version, can this be changed to the newer version which doesn’t have the see through bowl?

I am going to replace the clutch. I see 2 options, 1 is heavy duty. Is it worth the extra money?

Clutch catching
Triumph 2000tc, 1978. The clutch is momentarily sticking at the end of the travel, something I need when negotiating my garage - when going slow, ok normal operation. Any suggestions as to what’s causing it?

Re: New fuel cap
I replaced the old one with a locking one, same problem as johnnydog, fuel spilled out. I have the one shown in the photos but the seal has deteriorated hence the need for a new cap.

New fuel cap
I need to replace the fuel cap on my Triumph 2000TC, 1978. Not sure of the size to get, is there a similar one for other cars that will fit as can’t find one in NZ that says can fit Triumph.

Rebuilt engine smoking on start up
I had the engine rebuilt by a professional rebuilder (Triumph 2000TC, 1978), on start up it smokes white smoke. They said it as condensation being winter but the car is garaged and it is coming on summer now and still doing it. Have done about 1500km since rebuilt. Any suggestions why or is it normal?

Wind noise
I have a reasonable level of wind noise appearing to come from around the doors on my 2000TC. To rectify the situation I suppose the first stage would be to replace the rubbers, the problem I have is they look ok. I saw on a website where there are adhesive additional rubbers I'm not sure if that's ...
