Anyone got a system for sale? Preferably in the south, will travel to collect.

I'm after a standard 2 or 3 silencer system for an Estate not a sports setup (too boomy in an estate :( )

I'm sure I can shorten a Saloon version :D

If you have one spare, let me know how much you want?

Richard

Richard, if you end up having to buy a new SS system I'd like to recommend Double S, based in Cullompton.

Double S are the only firm to have made a system that I've been totally happy with, this for a Vauxhall Royale Coupe (aka Opel Monza) some 15 years ago. I couldn't have been more pleased with the quality and service.

The price was also very good but that may have been because they made a mistake when quoting, the quote being given to me at their stand at a motor show and based on a Vauxhall Senator because they didn't have any reference to hand for a Royale Coupe.

They had to buy a mild steel system from the car maker as a pattern and this cost them more than their quote for the complete and quite complex SS system, but they honoured the quote despite my offer to pay more!

The worst system by far was one bought from a well-known Triumph parts retailer (this was not CW - I have no experience of his systems but expect them to be good).

Don't get me wrong, no problems with Chris's systems. I've got them on two of the PI's. :D

However I find sports or semi-sports exhausts are very 'boomy' in an Estate, although my experience has been mainly with 2.5PI's. Hence I'm looking for a standard setup.

Also I'd like to save a few beer tokens if I can find one S/H. :) There was a 2000 one on ebay for £70 but it was in Yorkshire (collection only) so I let it pass.
