I found this list on another website (mostly it doesn't list offset though and most FWD wheels would be totally wrong.) Figures like 64.1 for the Prelude must surely be centre bore? :?

I got a close look at what were supposedly stock Triumph 2500 MkI PI rims today - the stamping on them indicated they were 13 x 5" and 32mm offset.

You are in the world of jdm spec fella - and have a HUGE aftermarket supply not so far from you guys. I went shopping there for mine

just surf yahoo.jp - loads on there (BUT SOLD IN PAIRS) and a couple of googles will give you a translation/handle service if you want them to take care for you - and it doesn't cost much either.

Happy hunting!

Re: Wheel Specs?

:( The never ending search for a suitable wheel continues (not helped by my wife's continual "I don't like that" comments at most wheels I suggest.....)

I'm after 15x7" (or maybe 15x6.5"?) and looking at 205/55R15 (or maybe 195/60R15) tyres. I need 15" to clear the front brakes- I could go to 16" but I don't think the "look" would suit an older vehicle. ('71 MkII PI)

I've found Rota make the RB in the exact size I wanted - 15x7" ET25; but of course my wife had something to say about them :( .

That then leaves me with not a lot of choice (apart from similar designs to the RB). She likes the 14" Triumph alloy that came out on the later models (2500S?), but aything similar I've found in 15" won't fit (wrong offset/ wrong PCD). (We're looking for an older style wheel.)

I'm now looking at perhaps going with 15x7" and ET38 offset.... which opens up a lot more designs. BUT has anyone tried fitting this offset and with what tyre size? I'm concerned about them not fitting (especially given I'll be ordering them form overseas due to pricing/ lack of local choice.)

Can anyone help with experience in that offset and width wheel?

I've seen these whilst surfing and thought they looked great, the all black finish with a red pinstripe looked nice, or anthracite with polished rim.

I like them, but the offset is at the opposite extreme at ET10. Going by earlier posts ET25 (15x7) with 205/60 tyres will just clear at the rear. They'd technically be illegal where I live too as you can't change the track by more than 26mm.

I checked clearance yesterday and I've got under 20mm between the tyre and strut at the front running 175/75R14 with a 14x5.5 ET30 rim. Plugging some figures in here http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp doesn't make things look promising for most wheels I've seen. I might have to look at 6.5" wind and 195/60 tyres? :?

mine is having 15x7 Revolutions, black 5 spoke with polished rim, running 205/60/15 tyres.

ET20 for the front, ET unknown for the rear at the moment, 'cos I got flared arches to clear, having to have them specially made once I fit and measure the ET20's
