Crease in guard

I have included a photo of the guard of a car for sale on line.
You will see I have arrowed a crease in the drivers side front guard mid point of the wheel arch.
It is a raised crease not a inward dint.
My car has this also and I am wondering what might be the cause.
Maybe the result of a front end shunt?
I have heard it said that the last batch of shells delivered to Australia were not welded to a high standard?

It looks usual definitely. I wouldn't say that it is impact / shunt damage as the wheel arch itself would be similarly damaged, and there would also be evidence of it on the leading edge of the wing. Triumph wings are surprisingly strong overall as the are welded on all edges, having the inner wheel arch bowl.
I am wondering about the cause of the other dents towards the top of the wing, or whether someone has attempted to reduce their severity by pushing them upwards from the inside of the wing? Access is limited as you know, but any form of 'paintless' dent removal requires the moderate use of levers, which in turn need a fulcrum.
Other than that, maybe a closer examination of the whole front wings and surrounding metal work may reveal further indications of a probable cause?

I have seen this before and is usually due to a small impact on the extreme end of the bumper. Is the bumper straight?

This photo is not my car. My car has the same thing only not as pronounced.
The bumper on my car is straight but, that doesn't rule our a slight bump or the bumper being changed before I got it.
Curiouser and curiouser but a slight bump it must be I think.

Fairly certain that damage is caused by a front end impact, seen it quite often when I worked in the panelshop at a Triumph specialist. If the damage is not showing anywhere at the front usually means a poorly repaired car someone has bodged, or It can be caused by a knock on the front side of the front bumper, however this can spring back pretty much to its original shape but leaves an outwardly crease above the wheel arch.

I would agree that the crease to the wheel arch could/would be caused by light impact to the front corner of the bumper, not enough to permanently distort it(the bumper), but enough to 'flex' it and crease the wing because the bumper is bolted to the wing at the sides.

My previous car once suffered what looked like serious damage to the rear left-hand wing. (My wife left the handbrake off and it rolled down a drive into a wall on the other side of the road)
The bumper and whole rear quarter was pushed forwards about an inch, and half way along the wing had buckled outwards - not quite as severe a crease as in the photo, but it was buckled outwards about an inch.
I put a jack inside the boot between the end of the lip and the rear of the wheel arch and tried gently pumping it up. Suddenly the whole section sprang back into place, and the crease vanished. There appeared to be no damage anywhere.
