Dutton Forshaw on Corporation Street, Preston were the suppliers of an 'R' reg Triumph 2500S that I bought back in the late 1990's for breaking. This was the paper document wallet that came with the car depicting their logo.

Dutton Forshaw took over Loxhams. Loxhams Garages Ltd then traded as Dutton Forshaw (Preston) Ltd. I have written about Loxhams in my blog see: http://vitessesteve.blogspot.com/2017/1 ... rs-54.html

The original tax disc holder from my 1973 2.5PI.
Supplied by Reliance Garage in Glossop, who were authorised Triumph dealers, but strangely didn't have the Triumph logo on on the holder. The car still has its dealer sticker in the rear window which also doesn't have the Triumph logo. They are listed in the Triumph Sales and Service booklet however.

I would like a photo of your rear window sticker, when you can, to add to my collection. I was pleased to see that the firm (RelianceGarage(Glossop)Ltd) is still trading at the same address.
I'll 'snow shower' dodge tomorrow and do that!

My other 1972 PI was originally supplied by the Triumph Dealers, Blue Bell Garage, Bury and Rochdale Old Road, at Heywood. I bought the car in 1991, and as Blue Bell Garage still existed, I paid them a visit. I recollect they had been or were at the time a BMW garage, and they kindly supplied a couple of old Blue Bell Triumph rear window stickers, and some PI fuel injection parts they had 'lying around' (ahh, the good old days...). One window sticker went in the car, which unfortunately has now suffered the ravages of time, but if I can find the other one, I will photo it. No promises, but I'll do my best to find it...!

The Reliance Garage (Glossop) rear window sticker in my Sienna PI.

And the coin tucked between the seat squab and parcel shelf turned out to be a shilling!

Not sure if Clarence ever supplied my great Grandfather's one with any window stickers or key fobs, although it has the original sill kick plate dealer plaque.

I have now found the spare the Blue Bell Garage rear window sticker (thankfully as it's a nice touch having the supplying garage details on the car, I think!). I have photographed it as best as I can but it still has its protective film over the adhesive, so it will look better when it's on the car.

I think the tax disc holder was for sale via eBay.
