Now you mention it Dave, it reminded me that last week I found a brand new unused '2500' metal badge for pfl carb 2500 models (for the Australian market) in my 'parts stock'.
Now how much is that worth to any one interested!???!

Well, there could be a venue for it if my blue car gets an upgrade this year :) Can I claim first dibs?
I just need a 2500 engine to go with it!

Rusty has a fairly modern radio in the facia hole at the moment. It “fits where only where it touches” is there a Triumph or aftermarket facia plate available so that we can mount this or another radio more securely?

You can buy this for the Stag (image pinched from eBay), I have fitted one in mine, maybe there is a T2000 equivalent?

The Stag one also fits the 2000 mk2 range, I have one in my red car, but they are expensive for what they are.
They do a good job, however!

Agreed - they are expensive but I have one in the Stag and and in the PI. They do the job!

Cheers,
Mike.

I turned up a radio surround on eBay labelled for a Stag the other day for under £30 - thanks for the information.

Thanks to johnnydog for the dash panel, which I fitted yesterday. I went for a later Mk2 dash and substituted the dash light rheostat for the seat belt warning light. It took a little while to remove the old dash until I managed to get the speedo cable off the back of the speedo, then it was just substitution, which I did by taking lots of pictures on my phone, before dismantling and the fitting one dial at a time.
