just cant understand why they are so expensive really compare this with mk2 o/s front arch

You get much more than the wheel arch, almost 2/3rds of the panel. The shape is absolutely spot on and has been manufactured using a newly made die. (Not cheap, £1000's!!). Can't really comment on the Capri arch, but would suggest it may be only a couple of inches deep, and not made with the same precision!
