Air filter elements SU

#1 Post by Phil T » Wed Jan 02, 2019 12:56 pm

Hi All

Anyone know where I can get the elements for my 2000 air filter for HS4s?

The likely suspects are all out of stock.

After possibly getting your hopes up, I have checked all my air filters - I have plenty of the Stromberg type, but unfortunately no HS4 types. I did sell two sets last year as I don't have a car that uses them, but these must have been the last ones I had . Sorry!

A quick search on Ebay shows one listed for sale ( I appreciate you need two!) - item no 253815952653

Or even better still a pair of TJ filters - item no 223274747518.

Or another pair - item no 223274717700.

Loads available!!

True, I could fit K&Ns, but cost is a factor at the moment.

I take it you saw my post regarding the ones available on Ebay?
Although it is personal preference, I am a stickler for originality, and as such wouldn't consider K & N filters.
There's nothing wrong with original filters as long as they are clean. With the mileage the majority of our Triumph do these days, and the UK enviroment, a replacement set should last for a reasonable length of time!
