1971 Sienna Brown 2000 Restomod

Hi all, I previously prepared a post here but it didn't like me uploading pictures from Tapatalk for some reason..
Anyway, I have now figured out how to resize pictures and figured it was time to share.

The workshop has been insanely busy this spring which means the 2000 has taken a backseat in favour of the customers cars. However this weekend I managed to find time to rebuild the rear end and try on the new shoes.. I'll give a quick recap on progress up to now.

Completely stripped the rear end of the car including all the old waxoil, sprayed a rubberized sealant for future protection, blasted all components including washers and handbrake cables. Galvanized, powder coated and painted all necessary parts. Rebuilt the rear diff and hubs. Replaced all bushes for polyurethane and mounted again with new nuts and bolts. Gas dampers, lowering springs and camber correction shackles have also been fitted. All parts supplied by Chris Witor. Here's a few pics of the progress:

Like I said, a very brief recap but I plan to update a little more often now. Next up is the front suspension.

Tom

I personally like Sienna on the right car (preferably a PI!) - a very period colour, which as the picture shows, looks stunning if its well kept!
