Anyone with any experience or tips on fitting a new headlining to a Saloon?

I’ve only fitted one to a GT6 & a TR6 hardtop, a few observations, you can never have enough bulldog clips (200+ on GT6) and do read the instructions on the adhesive, I initially missed requirement to allow it to go tacky before mating surfaces, caused initial difficulty. Good luck with it and allow plenty of time, I’d also advise waiting until air temp is a bit higher, makes the material more pliable, an assistant is invaluable too.

Hello Richard,

I replaced mine and found it quite challenging, mainly in getting the material streched the full length of the roof. I got mine from Canley Classics and it seemed to be a heavier mateerial than the original. Just be aware that the listing bars vary in length so keep them in order.

Good luck,
