Replacement floorpan

#1 Post by Carboy0 » Mon Sep 23, 2019 6:38 pm

We’ve been checking around the bodywork for rust on found plenty - of course. The passenger footwell has rotted out at the base of the bulkhead. My question is whether there is a panel available to be welded in or do we need to fabricate something?

All advice welcome

Cheaper (and easier) than making your own!

Lloyd is doing sterling work reproducing previously unobtainable panels/repair sections.
Thankfully neither of my two need any yet, but I would go here first if they did.

Thanks Dave, a lot of the rust is in the more upright bulkhead section, where it joins the floor pan, I don’t suppose there’s a panel for that as well?

the panel you require will be pressed next year, i have just managed to obtain this NOS one for use as a pattern, the o/s will be pressed and the n/s will be fabricated, unless i can find a NOS n/s in the meantime.

i might press the whole panel or just 15" from the bottom upward, the price i am waiting on will dictate
