Interior moulded cardboard parts

#1 Post by osholt » Fri Dec 28, 2018 5:36 pm

I was wondering if anyone knows of a source for replacement moulded cardboard parts that go beside the centre console and cover the top of the passenger parcel shelf for Mk2s? A pattern drawing would also be useful.

They have been rather tatty in my car since I bought it. I don’t think they are in good enough condition to make patterns from due to some large rips.

Thanks

Pretty sure Chris Witor used to do them, but I can't see any on his website at the moment.
Must be worth a phone call to him, if anyone knows, Chris will know!

Yes, Chris did do the driver's side one some years ago - I bought one from him! I think he only had one batch made and I don't think he does them any more, but it's worth asking.

In general they seem so easy to tear when removing replacement...

Cheers,
Mike.

I have a selection of good used drivers and passenger parcel shelves for the Mk2 if they are of any interest to you. I didn't keep any that in my opinion were not in a good serviceable condition.
PM me with exactly what you need and I will check what I have and their condition.
