What happened to-side indicator lenses

What happened to side indicator lenses.
Here is one I just took out of the oven.
It is a left side and I have polished out the external markings.
They can be made lighter or darker.

They are cast in resin.
The resin is specified good to 70 degrees C. and will sustain a high polish.
Final quality/shape is dependent on the model used to make the mold.
The colour can be darker or lighter. The original I used to make the mold had gone opaque so hard to tell the colour required.
Cost for a set would be 30 UK Pounds/ $51. (AUD)

Love it! Did you use a silicone to make the male and female mould? Really good idea thanks for sharing!

Interesting ......

I have NOS ones of most of the different types carefully put aside for use on my cars when they are ready so I am reluctant to release any unless absolutely necessary and therefor don't need any, apart from a very early thick ones - as I was corrected on!

If it it is just a case of having one NOS original so that the precise colour can be identified they are available on ebay or let me know and I'll see if I can locate a spare NOS spare :P
