Can we use OAT antifreeze in our cars have seen some mannol red on eBay ready mixed for a reasonable price says it’s suitable for aluminium cast iron copper etc. I assume that it should be ethylene glycol based.

Personally, I wouldn't. The Blue Ethylene Glycol that is specified for the Triumphs is readily available, so why change?
Ready mixed pink OAT antifreeze will probably be a 50% concentration (which is recommended for more modern cars). As antifreeze is very 'searching', I usually buy the undiluted blue Ethylene Glycol and mix it to a 33% concentration, which I find is more than sufficient for my Triumphs.

The blue (sometimes green or yellow) antifreeze recommended for our Triumphs is classed as IAT (Inorganic), whereas the more modern pink (sometimes orange) antifreeze is classed as OAT (Organic). They have different anti corrosion properties, as modern cars generally had longer coolant service intervals and had more aluminium components which required different anti corrosion properties.

This articles should give all the information about different types of antifreeze, especially in the section specifically titled as such.
