Hi just bought car with engine number MM.....HEA any ideas ?tia

Early auto cars had the letters BW at the end of the chassis (VIN) number. This signified Borg Warner. It was changed on later cars to the letter A (for Automatic).
Assuming that your car has the original engine, it suggests that your car is a 2.5 or 2500 facelift model (from the MM engine number) and was originally fitted with auto transmission.
