Oil to use

#1 Post by Ltriumph » Thu Mar 08, 2018 7:20 pm

I have a discussion going on with a mechanic that does some work on my car. I purchased Penrite HPR 30 20W - 60, he said I should have purchased a 20W - 50, is the Penrite wrong for the car?

20-50 is what was originally specified. Whether the Penrite 20-60 is OK is another matter! Personally, I use VR1 in both the PI and Stag.

Cheers,
Mike.
