Drive It Day 2019

#1 Post by johnnydog » Wed Apr 17, 2019 8:26 am

As usual, the Lancashire Group are having a run out for the annual Drive It Day on Sunday 28th April 2019, which as you all no doubt know is a FBHVC endorsed event primarily to encourage the use of classic cars on the public roads. It is a good opportunity to give your Triumph an airing at the beginning of the season, and blow off any cobwebs! We are meeting in the car park of the New Hall Tavern, Cuerdale Lane, Samlesbury (just off J31 of the M6) at 10am. If you fancy a gentle drive (and it definitely is a gentle run!) through some of Lancashires finest countryside with a visit to a place of motoring interest and a bite to eat, please let me know asap. We aim to conclude around 4pm.
You can join us part way round the route if preferred, although as the destination is a closely guarded secret , please contact me for further details of the route and approximate times.
All classics can join us - we have had a Rover P6, Austin Metro, and a TR250 join us in previous years.
If interested please contact me so that numbers can be given for catering - my details are in SIXappeal, or send me a pm or simply post on here!
