I hope everyone has a great time at the National with a safe trip there and back. It's a shame we're going to miss it this year!

Cheers,
Mike.

LuLU has made it as far as Durham, where we're spending a couple of days visiting family. Emergency diaphragm swapping surgery was a success

Well, only John (local from Northumberland) spoke to me at Paxton House yesterday, so I guess the rest of you who had arrived had other things to do. Pity, you missed a good little show, but hope you enjoyed whatever it was!
Hope to meet some of you later this week.

Hi all setting off tomorrow morning after the rush from Milton Keynes. In the Mk1 pi. Hopefully all will be ok for this long journey. With potentially dodgy propshaft! Fingers crossed. I'm bringing two friends this year. Do they know what they are in for, no and yes, they both like beer. Hope to see eveyone again this year. Safe journey to all going.

Hope to arrive by the late afternoon, early evening.

Just had a thunderstorm which has washed out the heat a little, was 27 degrees earlier (watch those Lucas pumps).

Hi John,

It's a loose program of events to be honest as we leave people time to explore the area while they are here, main events so far are a road run today, a boat trip to the Farne Islands tomorrow, a run to Beamish on Thursday, a run to Lindersfarne on Friday morning, welcome meal on Friday night, the Concourse on Saturday with the club buffet and entertainment on Saturday Night. The AGM is on Sunday morning of course.

I hope you had a good time at Paxton House on Saturday, I was hoping to get there but there was far too much to do setting up the event.

John,

If you can only make it for a day, then Saturday is the main show day when most people will be there.
Hope to see you there, we're coming up on Friday so should be there late afternoon.

Thanks for the outline of the programme for the week, like John I was wondering too! If I had known about the road run today I may have joined you! The boat trip and Beamish are 'old hat' for we locals, so of less interest.
I trust you have checked the tide tables for Lindesfarne on Friday, I would hate to read in our local paper about a clutch of big Triumphs being drowned on the causeway!!!
What time are you going over, as I was planning on coming down to the site on Friday, and I may have missed you all!
Final question - how does one enter the Concours, I would like to enter my 1975 2500TC if at all possible?

Concours entry rules published in the last issue of Sixappeal. Entry forms on the day, on the field and entered by 9.30 I think. Must have V5, Mot and insurance certificate and must have current tax disc. All docs to be shown on the day. Of course, you must be a club member to enter!
