I'd like to thank Amanda and Colin for a very enjoyable time at Stoneleigh

Cat and I, at a show for the first time, were made incredibly welcome.

The register stand had 10 MK1's (if my memory is correct!) and was very impressive, probably being the best display in any of the halls and made all the better by the quality of cars on show.

I saw at first hand, the amount of work and organization, that Amanda and Colin put into making these shows a credit to the register and to us, it's members.

And the tea stand raised £20 for Cancer Research UK.

All in all, a fantastic effort by all, once again, thanks.

Absolutely echo the above comments. Super stand with super cars on it.

It made a nice change to go from the cold-cold cow sheds into where the club stands were (only cold) and then into the heated hall for the trade stands.

Cheers,
Mike.

The organisers really need to get more "organised" if they want the show to carry on.

Over the years I have been going ( over 10 or more) the stands etc have been declining which isn't any wonder as years ago it was in warmer halls and there was more available autojumble about.

There are posts about all this on Club Triumph and I think that ALL the Triumph Clubs should stick togeather and confront the organisers about these issues................

Why use 4 halls especially when one was 3/4 empty and freezing!!!!!
They could have used the hall for Triumph parking instead of letting some of the lovely cars park along way off from the hall and was a trek if you wanted to go have a gander...............

There where some lovely cars parked up outside esp MK1's...........

Sorry to wander off the appraisals of the Register Stand .......... :?

All in all it is very nice to socialise though.........

It was an excellent show and a very good stand. Well done to Colin & Amanda. It really is a lot of hard work to put on a stand like this. Months of work behind the scenes, lots of phone calls and organising to put on a stand of this size and quality.

Also, we must remember to thank Lee Godfrey, I understand he was greatly involved in getting so many MKI's together!!

I was there all day, but missed seeing loads of people who I know where there, but I just never got around to speaking to or seeing.

Thanks Alan

but no need to thank me as I like to help and do my little bit to help Amanda and Colin.....................as you say it is very hard work and also a little stressful in making sure everything goes smoothly.

well done to all involved
