I don't know the car John, but as you say it looks very genuine - may have had a door painted? but it looks quite unmolested. Don't know why the seller thinks all that lacquer under the engine bay will assist the sale...
Although I really like original PI wheel trims, I do think minilites (or replicas) suit it.

If its the same one as on car and classic and I assume it is I have just looked on ebay and I can’t see it on there so he must have taken it off I have paid a deposit on it will be ready in a couple of weeks time. It’s the same colour as the one I had back in the early eighties was strong money as has been said but at least I know it’s sorted and I was fed up of missing out on others I had looked at and the ones with manual O/D don’t hang about will post photos soon.

Yep that’s the one. The one I had in the early eighties was an auto so am hoping for a bit better fuel economy on this one although I won’t be doing many miles in it so probably irrelevant.
What additive do you recommend for E5 petrol lead replacement, I may decide in the future to get the head done with hardened valve seats

Nice car you've bought by the look of it. If you're thinking of having the head reworked anyway, I'd just use E5 in it and not bother with any additive, unless you are going to rag it frequently you should see many trouble free miles. My 1973 Sienna 2.5 PI is virtually the twin of that car - currently on 44k, but auto. There is plenty of info in past topics on which fuel and whether to use additives etc.
Personally, I use E5 99 RON (Tesco Momentum, Esso Synergie 99 or Shell V Power). I also use Millers VSPe fuel additive, which helps protect against Valve Seat Recession AND gives a further 2 RON in the octane rating - effectively 101 or as good as the old 5 star leaded fuel (well almost!). It is easily dispensed into the tank in exact doses relative to the amount of fuel purchsed.
I have used Millers VSP (and more lately VSPe) in all my Triumphs since the abolition of leaded fuel in 2000. I tow a caravan with some of them, and have not experienced any decrease in engine performance / valve wear or any issues associated with unleaded fuel.
VSPe also offers a degree of protection against the ravages of ethanol in fuel which is highly corrosive to many classic cars fuel components. It also helps stabilise fuel in a car that is not in regular use or is laid up over winter.
There are of course other additives, but my personal preference is the manganese based VSPe. Charles H on here also swears by it too, and he is into classic car
rallying.
