Looking for a nice Mk1 2000 , need not be standard but must be rust free . Manual box please . Anything out there ?

What is your budget?

Coincidentally, I have been contacted today by a Register member who has a friend who is selling a Mk1 due to illness. I know of the car as it was previously owned by an elderly Register member who died of cancer several years ago.
The car is a later Mk1 saloon, but is an auto so I dont know whether this instantly rules it out. It presents very well, and has had a lot of money spent on it by the previous owner. It underwent a comprehensive restoration and has been tastefully modified in a lot of respects.

Well for MK1 PI budget for 6k Plusnet then you have find one for sale

As I said budget in place , just need to find a car

Elusive are mk1 Pi’s, I’ve been looking for one for years had to settle for the mk2 in the end. I’m not even after a nice mk1 Pi either, a real ugly one would do me as long it had all the bits and pieces. The search continues.

I’m still looking there must be something out there for me , no automatics . Nice car wanted cash waiting .

Even consider estate or PI .

If the right car came along body wise and at the right price, but was an auto, then its not a major task in relative terms to convert it to a manual.
