Coincidentally, I have been contacted today by a Register member who has a friend who is selling a Mk1 due to illness. I know of the car as it was previously owned by an elderly Register member who died of cancer several years ago.
The car is a later Mk1 saloon, but is an auto so I dont know whether this instantly rules it out. It presents very well, and has had a lot of money spent on it by the previous owner. It underwent a comprehensive restoration and has been tastefully modified in a lot of respects.
If this may be of interest to you, pm me and I can forward contact details.
I have no interest in the sale other than passing on contact details to any interested parties.

It’s a bit like poker , don’t want to show my hand but funds are there.

Elusive are mk1 Pi’s, I’ve been looking for one for years had to settle for the mk2 in the end. I’m not even after a nice mk1 Pi either, a real ugly one would do me as long it had all the bits and pieces. The search continues.
