Hello from New Zealand

#1 Post by SteelyDan1 » Wed Aug 14, 2019 8:55 am

Hi Everyone

Although I have been a Register member for a couple of years I have only just registered for the on-line forum!
My wife and I own two saloons..
1974 Triumph 2.5Pi M/Od in french blue (UK assembled but sold in NZ as a new car)
1975 Triumph 2500 Auto in Sable Brown (NZ assembled)

I have known the previous owners of both cars and they are both very tidy, with the sable car having been repainted and a partial restoration some years ago.
My intention is to recondition the engine which is tired, and to fit the Pi head and cam that I have waiting to go into it. I also have a manual O/d gearbox to be installed at the same time when finances permit.

The Pi will respond well to a repaint at some point- I am inspired watching others restorations on here.

Look forward to chatting soon.

Chris

Good luck with the cars!

Cheers,
