Hi there,
I am currently looking for a 2.5 PI or S estate. Not in a hurry particularly . I only do about 2k a year now in my Car now so its time to scratch that itch. I have had quite a few Triumph's from my first Car 12/50 Herald Convertible a couple of Vitesse and a Spitfire with a Vitesse engine oh and a Dolomite HL.
Not many of these about now but it has to be an Estate .
Cheers
John

HI thanks for that. They have taken a deposit on it but I have asked them to let me know if the sale doesn't go through.
If anyone lives locally to me (Wirral) I would like the chance to look over a Car its been over 30 years since I had a 2.5s for a short while.

I bought that blue estate. Its tidy enough but thinking of a small resto to it in a year or two. Bought on impulse. Already restoring a saloon that has run into a 20k+ bill so far. The estate might get driven, if not, it will be getting put away. Came with a heritage certificate.

Looking at that one Dave has referred you to, I personally would be a little hesitant in handing over my had earned readies. It looks like it has had work done to the sill areas, with the standard black gob hiding the repairs, the doors don't seem to fit particularly well, it has the usual filler hiding the join at the rear of the sill / rear wing, the drivers parcel shelf is missing, and to me, doesn't really look like a well cared for example. It would be interesting to do an MOT history check on it, but the seller seems to think that hiding the registration has some benefit...?
Sorry for being critical, but.........

I know of a former Register member who has a 2500S estate man in British Racing Green. The car has been off the road for a few years, but is generally not in bad shape. He has mentioned to me recently about selling it as it doesn't get used. The car is in the Chorley area of Lancashire.
If you think it might be of interest, PM me and I'll contact him, and if he ok with it, I'll pass his details on to you.

I hadn't realised that the Estate was such a difficult Car to find in really good condition they really are as rare as Hen's Teeth.
I have to look at whether I can get away with having a Saloon and whilst rare at least there are some for sale.
