Hello guys, about time I joined this forum really I'll also be a club member in the new year too! I've had my car two and a bit years now and after 5 months of having it I decided to build a 2.5 for it!
The cars going in for some de-scabbing and a new front panel this month so I'll hopefully have her back in the new year! Does anyone recognize this car or have any history of it? Wound be great! Thanks Dylan!

Also new rocker cover to go on I finished yesterday!

Not a car I remember, but looks pretty good. Nice to see the fragile vinyl and cloth seats still fitted!

Thanks for your welcome! Yes, and that's the way it's staying. Painting it original colour too and just putting some nice wheels on it! :D

As a November 1969 registered car, yours must be one of the earliest mk2 2000s still around, as they were only on general sale from October 1969.
I'm guessing it could have an ME three digit commission number, or at least a low four digit one.
Look after it carefully! 8)

I'm not too sure, is this any help? I am aware it's early as that is literally the only reason I'm spending some good money on getting it done properly!

Well, that is one of the earliest mk2s I've seen in a while, the DLO bit means it came with manual overdrive, 66 paint is Valencia blue and 33 trim is New Tan, although vinyl/cloth insert seats are a bit rocking horse these days!

Sounds good too me! It would be nice to find out what number it was off the line but I can't imagine that's possible?

Ps rocker covers on!:)

Three digit number would have certainly been nice!
