G'day

#1 Post by 2000wagon » Thu Aug 07, 2014 9:19 am

Hi everyone. I'm the proud custodian of a Mk 1 Triumph estate that my brother, (Overton triumph) introduced a while back. She's very much a hotchpotch of bits, as much of the trim was damaged or missing when Dad rescued her in the early 90's. Last count pieces from 11 different vehicles were used to revive her resulting in what I think is a combination of all the best buts used through the triumph range. While she doesn't get as much use as I like, I know that on any day, I can pull the choke out, fire her up and drive her for 5 hours non stop without fear of breaking down or overheating. I'm a firm believer that cars are meant to be used and this one is no exception

Agree with you there! The more they're used, the better they get...

Cheers,
Mike.
