"Klipper" My 2500S Estate
Kind of worrying in a way,in that ok my cills are original, and seem solid etc. But are they? Or moreso are the middle strengtheners sound???! Almost makes one think to cut off the cills just to see if all is well inside What a conundrum.

If you want to look at the state of the inner sill strengthener, remove the sill carpet, remove the sticky tape and look in through the holes (with a bendy optical thing if necessary). And while you're there, spray lots of Dinitrol in there too.Forkie wrote:Almost makes one think to cut off the cills just to see if all is well inside What a conundrum.

A bit more progress.

That looks to be a bit of a tricky area of repair - it's looking good.

Re: "Klipper" My 2500S Estate
Well I'm really pleased with the progress.
I spent today cleaning up the welds around the bonnet hinges while Ray cut the outrigger and rusty floor from the passenger side
