My life thats a real project, but you seem to have all the equipment, and space around you, great work and carry on with the pics, very interesting.
Is that a full length Webasto sunroof in it?
If so looks like my P.I with a full length and CAR aswell, lovely when they work!

I have relatives in Saffron Walden! I was born in Romford, but know the North-East area (Clacton/Colchester) very well.

From the pictures, that doesn't look too bad. I've seen (and repaired!) far worse and it looks like you're doing a great job.

With the superb work that Lloyd is doing with panel supply, there really ought to be far fewer cars that have really gone too far to repair. OK, anything is possible if you have the drive and a deep pocket but Lloyd's work will really reduce the drive (and depth of pocket!) that's needed!

Really pleased to see another early PI being resurrected.

Cheers,
Mike.

Hello Colin, by chance it could be the same owner as this was his wife’s run around. What are the chances they bought identical cars!

Hello all! Just fabricated the small panel that goes in between the inner sill and strengthener this also has a flange that spots to the splash panel photo to follow cant find it on the camera.

Image

A new Strengthener section fabricated and welded. I have pieced a triangular bit to the left as it was holed when cleaned up.

Image

Ready to start fabricating the strengthener. The jacking point is de-rusting and going to be welded back.

Beautiful work.If I had welded/fabricated as nice as that,I wouldn't be priming,OR lead loading-----I would be using clear lacquer!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent stuff, really looking forward to the rest,
Thanks
Bill.

Super quality work there.

I guess you've gas plug-welded the outer sill bottom to the middle sill? That's how I've done it in the past, albeit with MIG!

Cheers,
Mike.
