Diff pinion height or fore/aft position

#1 Post by trolleybus » Mon Dec 09, 2019 12:20 am

Hello all,
This question was asked by Alec in October 2018, But I can't find a definitive answer.

"Does anyone have the dimension or know where I might get the figure for the pinion height on a 3.45:1 saloon differential. The figure is not in the workshop manual and just refers to using the special setting tool." I am doing a 3.7:1

I would really like a number and or a reference/link where to find it Pleezze.

Hello Bernard,

I never found a dimension and ended up measuring my existing differential and rebuilt it to that setting.
