mk 2000 J type O/D gearbox year

I have just bought what should be a Mk2 2000 J type Overdrive gearbox - the serial number is - mb16426 - its a 25% - laycock ID plate 25/115835

Can anyone tell me what year its from ?

You don't say why you need to establish the year of the overdrive, but from a quick search, it confirms it is on a later 2000 gearbox, but not the actual year.
I would suggest contacting either Canley Classics of Coventry, or Overdrive Repair Services, Sheffield. They may be able to give you the information you need.
