Cleaning overdrive internals.

#1 Post by Charles H » Tue Sep 11, 2018 2:47 pm

I am due to swap an A type overdrive for one I have had for ages off a gearbox. I am thinking of swilling it out with paraffin to ensure I flush out any dust etc prior to fitting it. Is this OK to do wit all the bands/clutches etc? Anything else to think of prior to fitting?

Not too sure what that would do to O rings and other seals etc.
