Can anyone help please?....The windscreen wipers on my 2.5S estate, sometimes won\'t switch off, even though the selector switch is at the \"OFF\" position.
Have changed the wiper stalk selector switch. but fault remains. ...Do I need to fit a new \"PARK SWITCH,\" or is the wiper motor U.S?
Thanks,.......Barry.

Hello Bazz,
right first time, the park function is that little switch on the wiper motor, where the loom plugs in.
It is removable and can be dismantled to see if anything is obviously wrong. It is a long time ago, but I had problems with this and I fitted some insulating sleeving to ensure that there was no shorts between the copper links inside. If you have a Triumph workshop manual there is a good diagram in it. From memory the switch breaks the power and also shorts the motor winding to earth as this gives regenerative braking and stops the motor quicker.
