Hazard switch location and bezel

I got a hold of a couple of orange mini xenon lights, as fitted to plant equipment(funnily enough),stuck on a length of cable and a 12v. cigar lighter plug.If going a distance, on motorway,I stuck them in the back window ledge and ran the cable top the plug........just in case!!!
I cannot possibly comment on your car usage John,having covered 125 miles between MOTs2015/2016,and 12 miles between2014/2015!!!!!!

Just as an update on this Sprint95 has very kindly supplied me with the chrome bezel and a chunk of Dolomite dash to get the hole sizes but I am still nervous of the exact position as may be different from the Doly so I think the best way to go is to fit the instrument panel wood from a later facelift car that has the push/pull switch as standard.
I couldn't find one I liked at Stoneleigh (all PI, LHD, rocker type switch, couldn't tell if big saloon or Doly etc) so I have put a wanted ad on this site for a bare one as I don't need the dials etc.

With a pre-face-lift car, my suggestion would be remove the dash dimmer (just link it out, the dash is dim enough on full power!) and enlarge and re-use the hole for the hazard switch.
The hazard switch position on a face-lift car is in the middle below the warning light cluster, which albeit nicely symmetrical, I found when I had a face lift car it wasn't very well placed as it's directly behind the steering wheel so you have to reach through the wheel to use it.
