Hi all.
I live in Sutton, just outside Ely, & run "Winnie", a MK2 2500TC Estate as my daily driver (when it is behaving!)
Be really happy to meet up to chat if the timings suit.
:D

Being the Local Groups Organiser for the Triumph 2000 Register, if I can be of any assistance, please get in touch.
Local Groups are an important aspect of the Register, as they are a means of like minded enthusiasts coming together to share their interest in their pride and joy, and to enjoy their Triumph by getting involved in local events, car shows or runs out. I appreciate that not every owner wishes to get involved as such with the Register, and are happy to just receive their SIXappeal every two months, but a Local Group increases the drive to regularly use their Triumph, giving its use a bit more of a 'purpose'. Local Group members are, more often than not, willing to help their fellow owners out with parts, repair jobs, and give their input with any difficulties in maintaining their Triumph.
I have looked after the Lancashire Group for more years than I care to remember, and I like to think that we have a ''solid' group of Triumph enthusiasts; we help each other out with parts / repairs, have the odd run out, and attend local shows. A good number of us attend the Register National every year, which is a really enjoyable experience. We have an annual Christmas 'get together', regular monthly meetings, both where partners / wives join us - so we can't be doing that much wrong!
Age isn't on our side regrettably. However Triumph ownership is even more enjoyable when shared with others in your area - trust me!
Most Local Groups look after themselves - the enthusiasm of the members keep them going; the 'leader' is purely a 'point of contact', someone who arranges runs out, attendance at car shows, and any social events.
Please let me know if you need any help, ideas or pointers....
