The return of JO

#1 Post by CAR » Thu Jun 29, 2017 2:37 pm

After too long without a big saloon on the road, I have finished a few items needed to get the mk1 on the road after a period of changes to it's BMW running gear and systems and a change in ownership from Andy Borris to me.
I have always loved this car after driving it a few years back at Stoneleigh, it also took me on my last ride as a single man to Amanda and I's wedding in August 2014.
So far I have got the car cooling properly after the install of a new radiator and electric fan, re-piped some brake lines and the fuel lines, some suspension bushes, new seats, battery installation, wheels and door mirrors and other items of tinkering and adjusting.
I shall let the pics do the talking. If you are going to the National, feel free to take a closer look.

Thanks Baller the car is flattered by the photos. The seats are from an Alfa 156 and very comfortable too and yes it goes VERY well.

Like you Dave I am a mk2 man at heart but can appreciate the mk1 as well.
