According to the DVLA, it's blue, registered in Feb 1969, but not been taxed since 1991 AND has had a 3500cc engine fitted at some stage!!

With a bit of internet-ing it appears UDU 755G had an interesting life. Started out as a Mk1 PI rally car, was then re-bodied as a Stag with all the PI running gear transferred over, then had a 3.5l Rover V8 fitted and a Jaguar diff (but I guess you already knew that....see http://retrorides.proboards.com/thread/156602?page=4). Think you'd have trouble these days convincing the DVSA it's the same car and not to put it on a "Q".....
Appears to have gone missing in the 90s.

Have you found UDU Andy or is this just general interest?

Is the car still a reality or is the initial post just a query about the car from the article?
I'm actually surprised that the car retained the PI reg whilst re bodied in a different model of car! But I suppose it was 25 to 30 years ago.....
