Hi Folks; New to the Forum after having lurked on the 2000 facebook fan page for a couple of weeks.

Exploring the register site, saw a car I knew well,on the members cars page belonging to an Alan Carter.
Did a bit to this car many years back, and nearly got it for myself after it was seemingly abandoned at the farmyard where I rented a workshop. Anyway,I just found a photo of it at the farm in 2005. After I applied for a logbook for the car,the owner appeared out of the woodwork; I arranged to have the bodywork done for him locally in Banbury,& sourced the alloys etc for it. Looks like he sold it to Alan in 2010,wondered if its still around 4 yrs later & been polished up a bit as I know the blue had faded..
Rgds, Andrew Newman.

PS,it was in amongst some varied company..!

The "BY" in "LBY" indicates registered in Somerset, which makes sense. Probably registered days apart.

From memory John, 'YB' was Somerset, not 'BY',
cheers,
Laurence.
