Spamming

#1 Post by Allen Walker » Tue Apr 28, 2009 7:27 am

We seem to be under attack from spammers, for some reason  . Please bear with me while I adjust security settings to see if I can make life more difficult for them. If you get any problems posting please either pm me or go direct to my email.

Hello Allen,

yes I did notice this morning and obviously smartly removed :-) Why do they do it?

I don't know. There are some settings I looked at yesterday that I probably should have had on from the start - one of which checks the IP of all posters against an international register of spammers. Hopefully this will help. None last night anyway, which is a good sign.
